Marie Jenkins

Marie Jenkins, age 84, Harrodsburg, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at Harrodsburg Health Care Center in Harrodsburg. Born May 3, 1935 in Harrodsburg, KY, she was the daughter of the late Will and Sallie (Banks) Jenkins. She attended McAfee School, loved to play "checkers" was a homemaker and a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church.

Survivors include several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by six brothers Fred, Harvey, Paul Mac, William, Estele and Leroy Jenkins and six sisters Dovie Jenkins, Carolyn Stephens, Ruby Coslow, Rae Beasley, Bessie Jenkins and Nellie Ward.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at the Springhill Cemetery in Harrodsburg with Keith Greer officiating. Burial will follow in the Springhill Cemetery.

There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions are suggested to Heritage Hospice, 120 Enterprise Drive, Danville, KY 40422.
