Kendall Lee Patton, age 57, Harrodsburg, husband of Wanda Jewel Bottoms Patton, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2019 at St. Joseph Hospice Care Center in Lexington. Born December 19, 1961 in Harrodsburg, he was the son of Lester Patton Sr. and the late Geraldleen (Burrus) Bryant. He attended Harrodsburg High School after which he received his GED. He was a truck driver for Cardinal Farms in Bonneville and Southern Ventures Truckers of Simpsonville, was a former Mason, he liked to fish and hunt and was a member of the Little Zion Baptist Church in Burgin.
Survivors, besides his wife and father include: his maternal grandmother Elizabeth Burrus of Harrodsburg; five daughters Desiree Patton of Harrodsburg, Raquel Devine of Versailles, Brittany Patton and Brianne Bradshaw both of Harrodsburg, Seantel Franklin of Versailles; four sons Adam (Patricia) Hogan of Frankfort, Justin Smith, Devan Patton and Lamont Linton all of Harrodsburg; one sister Dewanna Logan of Georgetown; two brothers Lester Patton, Jr. of Junction City and Raymond (Toni) Patton of Danville; eleven grandchildren Keandre Smith of Danville, Ethan Hogan and Amari Hogan of both of Frankfort, Kaizen Devine, Kaziah Devine and Destivin Franklin all of Versailles, Kendall Isaiah Patton, Emma Grace Hicks, Lillian Faith Patton, Remmyngtun Reaighn Patton and Kadence Bottoms all of Harrodsburg; twelve nephews, Braxton Bradshaw, Braidon Bradshaw, Chrys Jones and Kameron Jones all of Harrodsburg, Tyrone Patton of Georgetown, Lashawn Patton of Bardstown, Adrian Patton and Austin Allen of Lexington, Wesley Patton of Danville, Lester Patton III, Marshall Patton and Adrian Smith of SC; two nieces Jessica Patton of Frankfort and Teia Chancellor of Georgetown. Kendall was preceded in death by a son, Donovan Dakota Patton.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm, Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Sims Funeral Services with Dr Phil Yates and Chrys Jones officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are John T. Mayes, James Thurman, Larry Andrews, Larry Hurt, Holden Patterson, and David Lee. Honorary bearers are Kendall’s sons and grandsons.
Visitation will be Friday, April 19, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 9:00 am until the hour of service at Sims Funeral Services.
