Joseph Carl Renninger Sr.

Joseph Carl Renninger, Sr., age 60, Harrodsburg, husband of Robin Alane Williams Renninger, died Monday, July 9, 2018 at VA Medical Center in Lexington. Born January 11, 1958 in Pottstown, PA, he was the son of the late Linfred W. and Ellen (Weller) Renninger, was a graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School, served in the U.S. Navy for twelve years mostly on a submarine, followed by serving two years in the U.S. Army Reserve. He was a self-employed small engine repairman, enjoyed boating and fishing, loved his grandchildren and border collies, and was a member of the New Life Outreach Church in Bridgeton, NJ.

Survivors other than his wife include his mother Ellen Renninger of Barto, PA; two daughters Jessica (Kenneth) Keller of Kutztown, PA and Sherri (Charles) Ferguson of Bedford, VA; two sons Jason (Leanna) Renninger of Lancaster, KY and Joseph Carl Renninger, Jr. of Albion, NJ; one sister Susan (Albert) Dirsa of Alburtis, PA; three brothers Lynn (Debra) Renninger of Barto, PA, Thomas (DeeAnn) Renninger of Greenlane, PA and Andrew (Wendy) Renninger of East Greenville, PA,; fourteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, ten nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 pm, Monday, July 16, 2018 at Sims Funeral Services by Bro. Larry Holbrook with US Navy military rites. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
