Martha E. (Bradley) Downs

Martha E. Downs, age 68, Harrodsburg, wife of Wayne Downs, died Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Ephraim McDowell RMC in Danville. Born May 2, 1948 in Harrodsburg, KY, she was daughter of Georgia (Newton) Bradley, Danville, KY and the late Charles Leon Bradley. She attended St. Catherine School, was a Caterer for Dunn and Company, a farmer, loved crocheting and was a member of the Little Zion Baptist Church in Burgin, KY.

Survivors other than her husband include: one daughter, Ann Bradley of Lexington, KY; one brother, Michael Ray Bradley of Perryville, KY; five grandchildren, Shakira Parks, LaShandra Parks, Nakia Parks, Anthony Parks, Shauntez Parks all of Lexington, KY; one great granddaughter, ZaRiyah Parks also of Lexington, KY; three aunts, Martha Combs of Lexington, KY, Emmalene Yankey of Perryville, KY and Mayola Lynn of Danville, KY. Martha was preceded in death by a brother, Vaughn Shelton Bradley.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the Little Zion Baptist Church in Burgin, KY by Dr. Phillip Yates Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Perryville. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

Pallbearers are: Marc Bradley, Jason Bradley, Mike Bradley, Terry Dunn, Brian Dunn, Alvin White, and Mark Dunn
