Lee Mellor Anderson

Lee Mellor Anderson, age 70, husband of Marjorie Chipman Anderson, departed this life on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at his home in Harrodsburg, KY.  Born April 6, 1947 in Jamestown, New York, he was the son of the late Howard and Nannie (Paulson) Anderson. He served 23 years in the Navy (during the Vietnam War), was a former employee of Gateway in Harrodsburg, a farmer and a member of Cornerstone Assembly of God in Danville.
           Survivors in addition to his wife, include; one daughter: Tammy (Mark) LaPalme of Salvisa, KY; one son, Thad (Anabel) Anderson of Harrodsburg, KY; two sisters: Carin (Jim) Smalley of Florida and Lynn (Dan) LeRoy of New York; four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
            A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:30 am on Monday, July 10, 2017 by Bro. Tom Lane at Sims Funeral Services in Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, KY with full military honors.
