Jordan Tyler Yeast

Jordan Tyler Yeast, age 26, Lexington, dependent of Sam and Cathy Wheat, Harrodsburg, died Sunday, May 7, 2017 in Lexington. Born September 7, 1990 in Lexington, he was the son of Jeff Hardin of Lexington and Brenda Ellis of Danville. He was a 2009 graduate of Mercer County Senior High School, a team member of the 2006 Kentucky High School State Champions Football Team, was a self-employed roofer and gutter repairman and was a member of the Centennial Baptist Church in Harrodsburg.

Survivors other than his guardians and his father and mother include two sons: Kingston Kash Yeast and Kollier Lee Yeast both of Harrodsburg; five sisters, Chandra White, Lexington, Ashley Yeast Reynolds, Harrodsburg, Lanisa McCann, Lexington, Ashley Hardin, Lexington and Sarah Bottoms, Lawrenceburg; two brothers, Jeffery Hardin, Jr. and Javen Hardin both of Lexington; his paternal grandmother, Beverly Hardin, Lexington, and maternal grandfather, Shelly Ellis, Lexington; one niece, Audrey Moore,  Harrodsburg, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm, Friday, May 12, 2017 at the Centennial Baptist Church by Elder J.D. Short III, Bro. Donald Wayne Smith, Bro. Remont Mayes and Bro. Dale Smith. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Harrodsburg.

Active Pallbearers are: Trevor Short, Russ Mays, Deuce Jones, Nick R. Yeast, II, Donovan Ellis, and Nicholas Short. Honorary bearers are William “Bo” Yeast, Robbie Yeast, George Yeast, Steve Yeast, Nick R. Yeast, I, Larry Yeast and John T. Linton.

Visitation will be Friday, May 12, 2017 from 11:00 am until the time of service at the Centennial Baptist Church.
