Frank Lawton Perkins

Frank Lawton Perkins, age 92, Burgin, widower of Marjorie Pauline Truax Perkins, died Monday, March 7, 2016 at the Ephraim McDowell RMC in Danville. Born December 22, 1923 in Central City, KY, he was son of the late Frank Leslie and Beulah Mae (Millard) Perkins. He was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corp, a self-employed brick mason and a member of the Harrodsburg church of Christ.

Survivors include: one sister Beulah Lee Neal of Mumfordsville, KY; one sister- in-Law, Wilma (Don) Kestler of Burgin, KY; one brother-in-law, John (Bonnie) Truax of Louisville, KY;  one niece, Shauna (Roy) Burger of Burgin, KY; two nephews, Steve (Melinda) Kestler of Burgin, KY and Timothy Truax of Louisville, KY; one great niece, Dawn (Lewis) Sexton of Burgin, KY; three great nephews, Shawn (Kristin) Burger, Christian Kestler; and Ethan Kestler all of Burgin, KY; five great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2016 at Sims Funeral Services by Keith Greer. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens in Mt. Washington, KY.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 10, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Friday after 8:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
