David Lynn Harrison, Sr.

David Lynn Harrison, Sr., age 53, Hustonville, husband of Carolyn Ann Watts Harrison, died Monday, June 6, 2016 at his home in Hustonville, KY.

Born October 26, 1962 in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of the late Robert Daniel and Ruby Mae (Taylor) Harrison. He was a self-employed farmer, loved to fish and hunt and was a member of the New Life Ministry Baptist Church.

Survivors other than his wife include: one daughter, Amanda Harrison of Stanford, KY and one son, David (Rachel) Harrison, Jr. of Richmond, KY, one brother: James (Anita) Harrison of Danville, KY and several nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Harrison and a sister, Elizabeth Harrison Gover.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am, Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Sims Funeral Services by Chuck Robinson. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery in Harrodsburg. Pallbearers are: Junior Taylor, Jimmy Taylor, Nick Hardin, Blake Hardin, Harrison Hardin Jr., and Connie Blacketer

Visitation will be Thursday, June 9, 2016 from 9:00 am until the time of service at Sims Funeral Services.
